I've just purchased what I thought was the RLK8-820D4-A system from Amazon (due to a deal and money-off voucher), but just checking my order now and the model number quoted in the order is RLK8-800D4-A.

I can't find an RLK8-800D4-A system on the ReoLink website (though there is an RLK8-800D4) so I'm just wondering if this is a typo by Amazon? Or if it is a different system, what are the differences between these two?

      Thanks...

The only differences are the cameras provided and Pet detection (Beta).

One more question...presumably the pet detection would help to eliminate false alerts from animals in the garden, such as foxes or cats?

            Thanks Joseph.

Just in case anyone else is interested, apparently the other main difference between the cameras is the frame rate...the 800D4 is 20 fps, whereas the 820D4 is 25fps.

Must admit, I would have preferred 25fps, but is it worth spending nearly £100 more to get it?

@user_667408885637231_667408885637231 Lower frame rates say under 24fps will have a juddery appearance and will flicker, giving the impression of a low-quality visual. Higher frame rates will appear smoother and more realistic.
