Hi - I have these 4 components - Cable modem - WiFi router - PoE switch - 8 ch NVR

Cable modem - not a router combo - laundry room

All cameras into PoE switch in laundry room

NVR & WiFi router under TV

Single ethernet cable from laundry room to TV

      Looking for proper connections

Cable modem to PoE switch (which port)
PoE switch (which port) to WiFi router (WAN port?)
WiFi router (network port) to NVR (LAN or 1 of the regular) ports

      THANK YOU!

@bzimpfer_627704403059286 Should be fairly easy............Fibre ONT ethernet port to the WAN port of the WIFI router. Ethernet port of NVR to the Ethernet port of the WIFI router. Uplink ethernet port of the POE switch to the other ethernet port of the WIFI router......and connect POE cameras to the POE ports of the POE switch. Ensure you have DHCP enabled on WIFI router so cameras and NVR get their IP from the WIFI router. In this way you are also able to access the cameras directly by the Android/IoS client without logging on the NVR. But configuration should be through the NVR.

Thanks but...only one cable run from cable modem/PoE switch location to NVR/wifi router location.

Looks like you've got switch to router and cable modem to router - that'd be 2 - this is the dilemma...

I could move wifi router to location w/ PoE & cable modem but would be in metal box so looking for another way.

@bzimpfer_627704403059286 Get the WIFI router and the NVR in the Laundry room too and connect the TV to the port of the router using the cat5/6 you have between the two locations.

Sorry - you said Router to TV via ethernet - not sure why. TV has wifi - I have a mesh system. Wanted to view cameras on TV.

                  Thanks again Joseph!

@bzimpfer_627704403059286 For your requirements you need 2 cables between the laundry and your TV.
