Re: Argus PT will not connect to router.

My PT (2.4GHz Only) had been in use for about 4 months, when I took it down and put it into storage. My WiFi then (and now) is Starlink, Beta (round dish). During the 4 months, the camera connected, was recognized, and ran fine on my WiFi using Starlink.

A week or so ago, I pulled the camera out of storage, and it would not connect to the same WiFi setup. I entered a ticket with Reolink, who gave me some instructions which did not work. I was getting errors like "Device Already Exists", or "Device Failed to Delete", etc. I checked the Reolink links for solutions; nothing worked. I chose to delete the app and start over; the smart phone camera could not scan the Reolink camera's barcode * because there was already barcode that populated the smart phone window from which I was to shoot the camera's barcode *. (I explained much of this in more detail back to Reolink. They now want to call me).

These barcodes did not match, and I could not erase the wrong barcode that kept popping up. I've tried to connect the Reolink camera using alternates like UID and LAN, but no go there, either. I don't get it. Starlink has also been re-booted using factory reset. Nothing. The camera is 3" from the router. Nothing. I have also reset the Reolink camera. Nothing. I don't get it. The camera was recognized a few months ago, but not now, and nothing changed to my knowledge with Starlink's system to preclude connecting a camera device.

As Ferris Buehler's Economic's Teacher said during roll call: ......... "Anyone? Anyone?"

@th_620442697576459 Try to connect it to your smartphone hotspot as illustrated in the following link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000449566-How-to-Connect-Reolink-Cameras-to-Phone-s-Hotspot/

At least we know that the camera is fine.
