      hello, I would like to purchase a small system (2 or 3 cameras), for a vacation house. As there is no wifi nor electricity for 2/3 months, I was thinking of a battery camera with integrated sim slot. The question is: can I buy 1 or 2 more wifi cameras, to connect to the same wifi network of the first main camera, where is located the sim?

          @antonio089_626720538640449 Hello Antonio,
          There is one question. Do you want the cameras for outside of the property, or for the inside? And if for the outside, how much area do you want to cover.? I would suggest to go for cameras from the Go series or the dual lens LTE Cameras. These you can run with solar panels and they do work excellent. I have got four cameras of this type and it has helped me and the police a lot. These cameras have sim cards on board and record on micro SD cards. For a small additional fee, you can also configure them to record on Reolink cloud. I use both recordings. The recordings on the micro SD card can be longer, but if someone steals the camera, you have got no proof. I hope this will help you.

            @antonio089_626720538640449 if you have no electricity then your option is to have 4G cameras charged through a solar panel as suggested by Steve. And ensure that you have local recording (on SD) as well as in the cloud just in case the cameras are stolen. There is the GO PT plus and Duo 2 LTE.

            Have a look at https://m.reolink.com/product/reolink-go-pt-plus/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9IrI8YnQgAMVhdzVCh32FQTWEAAYASAAEgIYdPD_BwE

            Ensure you have a strong 4G coverage as HSPA bandwidth (3G data) is not enough.

              @antonio089_626720538640449 Steve and Joseph have offered camera recommendations for you and I also believe 4G solar-powered cameras would be nice options for you.

              And to answer your questions, you cannot link two WiFi cameras to the cellular network of a 4G camera. WiFi cameras connect to WiFi network only. If you are planning to use three 4G cameras, contact local netowrk carriers and see if they can offer 3 SIM cards in only one data plan.

                @antonio089_626720538640449 as nobody really answered your question I will try...
                Your question was: "Can I buy 1 or 2 more wifi cameras, to connect to the same wifi network of the first main camera, where is located the sim?"
                Basically a 4G camera with SIM card does not provide you any wifi network for other cameras so the answer is: No.
                4G cameras with SIM cards are only standalone cameras (unfortunately - and this is a disadvantage when needing more than 1 camera).
                If you need more than one camera and only have 4G connection it will be necessary to have a SIM card for each camera as one kind of a solution
                or as the more professional way: use a 4G router and build your PoE network which is supplied by a good solar power system which you also
                could use for other things in that house if necessary...

                  @janser-dienstleistungen-gmbh_257000373518575 He can also opt to buy a 4G/WIFI router like solapv(dot)com/product/solar-4g-wifi-router/ and have WIFI cameras. But if 2 cameras are required then better to opt for 4G cameras with multi-sim subscription.

                  Note that we cannot add links.
