I use tinycam on my tablets as 24/7 viewing monitors, because the reolink app will eventually time out. Tinycam won't do this and I can leave it up indefinitely. The problem is the Tinycam hardware decode doesn't work right with whatever the default h264 profile is set as, so it runs in software and drops tons of frames.
Basically these cameras are useless to me if I can't fix this. Am I going to have to return 4 cameras to amazon?Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Switching to RTSP over UDP instead of TCP strangely helped a lot. It doesn't fix it 100%, but it makes it usable again.
Can you work with the Tinycam developers to get hardware/Hardware+ h264 decode working though please? -
@user_721709091299492_721709091299492 Normally they use TCP when the client is connected on the same network as the camera and UDP if the client is connected to an external network. In your case it should be RTSP over UDP on your Android appl.
How to change h264 profile to baseline RLC-510WA
