I have been trying for days to get VLC to connect to my RLK8-800B4 with no luck at all, have tried obs to with no luck, support is slow over email and im about ready to send this thing back as I need it live streaming to youtube asap.
ive followed all the guides on riolink support and help and even tried 3rd party help guides and still no luck at all?
I can use the app to see the cameras with no problem and can even use internet browser to log in but only when on the same wifi?
can any body help with this problem or have I got a fault in my dvr

Sorry for the inconvenience. If you want to display the video stream via VLC player, you may use the RTSP stream.
But the RLK8-800B4 supports sub-stream RTSP stream only.
You may refer to this URL to set your camera's RTSP stream: rtsp://(user name):(password)@(IP address):554/h264Preview_01_(stream type)
For example, you can set it as this: rtsp://admin:111111@192.168.10.92:554//h264Preview_01_sub
The "01" in the "h264Preview_01" means the camera channel on the NVR.
