Camera API: Setting Default Preset Location

I have been using the API to do various things with my cameras, but after looking through the documentation v8 multiple times I cannot seem to locate something in the API that would allow me to designate which preset for a camera is now the default at-rest location.
I have a camera that is trained on a bird feeder during the day. At night, however, I would like to change the default location to one that is pointing more toward the ground so that I can allow the motion sensing to capture when four legged animals (skunks, raccoons, or - what would we discover if we could watch!?!?) wander through the area at night. I'd then like to revert the setting each morning.
I'm assuming there is a way to set this part of the configuration, but I'm just not recognizing it in the doc. Thanks.

@johnwj9_655853835305034 I just checked the API doc and there is no command which gives you the current default preset.

However, irrespective of the current preset the camera is pointing at, you can set it at the preset you wish to point at a specific time.

eg: At 01:00 you want to point it to preset with ID=2

And at 05:00 you want to point it to preset with ID=5

In addition to having to disable return to monitoring point, does this also require having to disable motion tracking?
