We are using Reo-link wireless cameras to monitor a construction site for theft. We record the video on a Reolink DVR. When we access the DVR directly we can zoom in on the playback video and read license plates. However, when we get into the DVR using the Reolink client on a laptop through a wireless router we can no long activate the zoom during playback. Does anyone know if there is an alternate DVR control software package or a Reolink Client software upgrade that will allow us to use the zoom on playback?

Reolink cameras that support digital zoom could digitally zoom in the video while previewing and playback.If your cameras support optical zoom, then your cameras support both optical zoom in and digital zoom in while previewing, but only support digital zoom in while playback.
Cynthia, When we do a playback using the Reolink client, there does not appear to be anywhere on the screen where we can activate the digital zoom feature? How do we engage the digital zoom?

Cynthia, The article you referenced did not help. We have never had any problems using zoom on a live action screen using the Reolink Client. Where we have our problem is when we do a playback from a recorded time period. We can get the video to playback but we can't activate the digital zoom during the playback to get a closer view of the image. We want to be able to zoom in on the vehicle license plate during playback, but can't find a way to activate the zoom feature. Is there a way to activate zoom on playback using the Reolink client when looking at either a camera's recorded events, or a NVR's recorded events?
