Hi -First I would like to say that you did a good job with the recent update to the mobile app.I would like to suggest something. Is there anyway to come up with an easier way to playback your motion recordings on your mobile device?Maybe you could setup a section in the mobile app dedicated to motion detections recordings. It is just a bit tedious to have to maneuver through all of those blue lines to get to the motion detection recording you want to see.For example: I receive a push notification on my phone that the camera picked up. I unlock my phone and go to reolink app -> and a tab for motion detections and bang all of your detections are there.Currently I have to open the app -> go to playback -> choose the date -> search the date -> then maneuver through all the blue lines before I can find what time this happened. By that point if it was a burglar they would have stolen everything in my house and been gone.Like I said this is just a suggestion but it would be nice.
Hi, thanks for your suggestion and I will forward to our R&D then they will check it.
First, I would like to see the blue lines a little thicker or more zoomed in on the timeline. They are hard to see.Second, I would like to see an option of having just a list of files recorded with dates/filesize, like a normal window on a PC. And, have auto play from one file to the next.
I'm not sure what version of the client you are using, but on iOS you can pinch and zoom the timeline to dive into it and much easier see the various events. I would think the company would have built this also in to its other mobile platforms. It can see hard to do at first, but once you have done it a few times, you will see how easy it can be.I would second the option of seeing this data in list/table format like with the desktop client or the timeline. Good suggestion.
Quella,Well, duh, I don't know why I didn't even try that in the first place. Thank you! I'm on IOS...
Awesome. Glad to have helped. It took me some time to also find this as it was easier on the desktop client. Once I found it, I use it all the time now. Sometimes it is the little things that make a company like Reolink great.
are you using the email video clip alert, works great with gmail when motion is triggered its sends a video of what set motion to your email and it pops up on the iPhone screen in like 10 seconds caught my elderly mom driving over my driveway lights but it is a pain sometimes if your camera is outside and its snowing rain or bugs spiders are the worst, god forbid you turn the ir on! I leave ir off and use a separate $15 dollar ir flood from amazon works great in keeping bugs away from camera.
