@sverde1_345727230935201 Same problem here too. I sometimes wonder if the Reolink software team have any idea how to test their software. They keep making stupid mistakes like this, and it's quite concerning really!
@martin-kistell_73972976554167 If they ignore the problems, then the problems dont exist haha!
Well, this update was worse. Live view freezes after a while, and you can't change and store the image quality to clear. I've gone back to a previous version now. Its still not great, but better than this one! I dont understand. Yes you've added new features for new cameras, thats fine, but basic features that certainly weren't perfected, are now even worse or missing....AGAIN! Its getting to the point that someone needs to make 3rd party software, as the camera's themselves are excellent!
@reolink-fiona Just to add to this, I have the exact same camera and nvr combination, and have a similar problem. What I noticed is, the camera itself is detecting pets, but the NVR is not saving it as a "pet detection". I have 6x 810A's. 4x are direct to the NVR, and 2x 810A's are connected to the NVR via a POE switch. They record to the NVR and to the internal SD card. If I log into the 2x camera's directly on the network (bypassing the NVR), the pet detection playback works fine, whereas if I play them back via the NVR, there is no pet detection.Hope that helps
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 With respect, thats rubbish. Been hearing that for years, and it still hasnt been fixed. Its truly bizarre that nearly every update actually goes backwards, and stops more and more features working. How many updates left until the client stops working altogether haha?
@pbd-security_661054932942968 Same for me too. Its been doing this for a while. I think the latest update for the argus 3 pro must have broken something.
@reolink-fiona No, the App and PC client playback pet detection perfectly. Its the NVR that does not save the pet detection events. Its nothing to do with the camera's, or the app or client. The NVR firmware just does not work with pet detection as no pet detection events are saved.
@reolink-fiona Model: RLN8-410Hardware: N2MB02 Firmware: v3.0.0.200_22081548This is what I wrote in the other thread: What I noticed is, the camera itself is detecting pets, but the NVR is not saving it as a "pet detection". I have 6x 810A's. 4x are direct to the NVR, and 2x 810A's are connected to the NVR via a POE switch. They record to the NVR and to the internal SD card. If I log into the 2x camera's directly on the network (bypassing the NVR), the pet detection playback works fine, whereas if I play them back via the NVR, there is no pet detection. So basically, the pet detection is working well at the camera, its working well with the client/app, but NOT with the NVR. When viewing live, the NVR shows the pet symbol, but doesnt save the motion as a "pet detection" event.
@reolink-fiona Just to bump this, but the pet detection doesn't work with this update as I, and others, have mentioned in another post. Is anyone looking into this, as sadly this part of the update is effectively false/useless?thanks
