Hello everyone,Can please someone give me a solution how i get a popup alert at my Samsung A52s phone whem someone hits my new Reolink Doorbell. The only thing i hear is a sound as if i get an email, whatsapp whatever what. No popup. The screen stays black. Also no popup as the screen is unlocked.I installed the app also on an Iphone and there is no problem at all. Okay it's only a popup which i can open and get a image while i want no manually action to open it but instead get the image automatic. But on my Samsung A52s (running android 13) i don't get the f...... popup. Tried everything i can find on the internet and that is not so much. Looks like i am the only one with his combination. Don't think it is the doorbell but the phoneWhat blocks this on my Samsung Phone? Hope someone is familiar with this problem. Please shareThanks in advanceGreetz, Paul

@joseph_1979 The AP near the doorbell is the only AP which is connected by WiFi to the Backhaul. But the connection of this AP has the status "Good" to the nearest wired AP. So you should say that this is good. Unfortnunately not because as i told i have drops on both Wifi and direct LAN.When i connect the doorbell directly to the router or one of the three wired AP's the connection stays up. So in this case there are no drops. So the conclusion is that although there is nothing wrong with the AP (Status is good) which is 20 cm. close to the doorbell there are many drops in a short time and the only difference is that this AP is wireless connected to the backhaul. Problem is that i cannot make this AP part of the wired backhaul.
This problem is getting irritating. Whats the matter? I've got in warranty time a new wifi doorbell from Reolink because the doorbell continuesly disconnects from my network. Even when the doorbell was connected straight to the network with a network cable. Afterwards this was not necessary because i (not Reolink) found out that the RTSP protocol was the one that causes the disconnects. As soon i disabled the RTSP protocol the disconnects were gone and i had a stable connection. That's in wifi and straight to switch with a cable. Strange isn't it? But it's getting stranger. I need RTSP for third party software such as Home Assistant. So i continued the support ticket to Reolink and explained the situation and that i found out that when the protocol is disabled there are no disconnect problems at allBut... after a random time i found out that the disconnects showed up again and after checking i found out that the status of the protocol RTSP and ONVIF were enabled again. I didn't do that. The support desk are still investigate this but they ask me questions like "Did you press the save button after you disabled the RTSP / ONVIF protocol" Duhhhhhh. Next question "Please remove the doorbell in it's total from Home Assistant". Can anyone here tell me that this makes sense? Is Home Assistant capable of setting these protocols in the camera "on" or "off"? And second is it true that RTSP and the doodrbell are no good friends?I have the doorbell over a year and since i turned on the RTSP protocol i wish i had never bought this doorbell. Not knowing all the time that RTSP was the problem.Thx
@joseph_1979 Thanks. I understand what you are telling. But??? Could this be a reason why the connection drops? The connect status of the AP which actually is a repeater is okay "Good" in the Netgear software
@chopstix I have a live stream open on my pc when i am working so i can see how many times in a couple of minutes the doorbell disconnects.Tomorrow i will reconnect the doorbell straight to the router or a switch connected to the routerThanks
@joseph_1979 It isn't necessary to dismount the doorbell. The networkcable connected to the doorbell has a female connector near the AP inside the house. On that i can make a connection straight to the router or a switch connected to the router. Not at home now so do that tomorrow. Thanks so far. I will let you no the result
@joseph_1979 Because i suspect wifi i connect the doorbell directly to an ethernet port on the (wired) Orbi Accesspoint. Wired means in my case that all the AP's are wired(daisy chain topology)So the wifi is disabled on the doorbell. The idea was that with a direct LAN connection it always will work. Unfortunately not. rgds, Paul
Good day,I am getting crazy with my wifi video doorbell. The doorbell keeps disconnecting from my network when connected to wifi or to lan. Doesn't make any difference. It was in the first place configured and connected only to wifi. Then i found out the disconnections. What could be the problem? Maybe the distance to one of the three (wired)satellites in my Netgear Orbi wifi Network. So i disconnect one of them and put it a couple of centimeters from the doorbell. Satellite is still wired. The doorbell keeps disconnecting from the network. On the back of the satellites there are 4 ethernet ports so the idea was to connect the doorbell directly to one of the the ethernet ports of the satellite instead of wiifi. So said, so done. The doorbell keeps disconnecting from the network. It's so crazy that i can hardly believe it. 1.5 Meters above the doorbell there is a Reolink E1 Outdoor cam connected to the same Orbi Mesh system. It never disconnects from the network while his AP which is further away then the couple of cm. as the doorbell does.IMHO i have done everything i could to get this solved but i am out of options. I made a ticket at Reolink support and the send me a new one. Unfortunately it didn't helped. It is not a disconnect in a hour or so but sometimes several times in a minute. It drives me nuts. Maybe there is someone here with a good tipThanks in advanceGreetz, Paul
I also have the latest firmware 1859 build 23030900 where it worked before i did a restore to hopefully resolve another issue with this crappy doorbell. Sorry i have no other words. Maybe the doorbell is okay but the software for sure isn'tBefore the restore i did ftp the recodings to my synology NAS which was okay. I tried it for about a hour now without results. Now i am totally out of optionsOn the NAS side nothing changed only on the Doorbell side (since the restore to FD).
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Hi,Sorry but checked that many times. It's ONGreetz, Paul
