I also have the latest firmware 1859 build 23030900 where it worked before i did a restore to hopefully resolve another issue with this crappy doorbell. Sorry i have no other words. Maybe the doorbell is okay but the software for sure isn'tBefore the restore i did ftp the recodings to my synology NAS which was okay. I tried it for about a hour now without results. Now i am totally out of optionsOn the NAS side nothing changed only on the Doorbell side (since the restore to FD).
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Hi,Sorry but checked that many times. It's ONGreetz, Paul
Hello,It's getting confusing.Record is ON and Push Notification is ON. They always were ONIn Record --> Schema : ALL was checked and as you asked i put Person and Visitor also to ONIn Push Notification : Only Visitor was on and as you asked i put ALL and Person also to ONNow i get a popup (reolink logo) when there is movent and also when some one rings the doorbell. But only on a unlocked screen on the phone. A locked screen stays black when someone is pushing the doorbellGreetz, Paul
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 On the Samsung phone the notfication is "On". That was the first thing i checked on the phone side. I even reset the app presets for all my apps on my phone which i regret that i did this. Not only it makes no sense but untill today i face the consequences for that action.Yes i store data (record is "On" and notification is "On" but only for visitors. The footage is first stored on a 64Gb sd card and with a TFP session copied to my Synology NAS. I don't use a NVR where i can store the data for a couple of months.Greetz, Paul
@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Sorry i meant a restore not a reboot
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Thanks for your time and reply.I just tried a reboot. Did that a couple of times before with no luck.Like every time there is still no notification on my Samsung Phone.If you have more suggestions please tell me This is so annoyinggreetz, Paul
@grahamscomputers_73909861070 Same problem here on my samsung A52. I am so frustrated about this issue. Thought that in the end there is finally a suitable doorbell with all the options you need. Not knowing that a functionallity like a popup notification on a phone is missing which imho is the first functionallity you think about having a doorbell. Tried everything without results. No notification on a locked or unlocked screen.For the fun i installed the app on another Samsung. The Samsung S22. Same results. Nokia 7.2 same result.But believe it or not i tried it on an Iphone 12 and there are notification popup on locked and unlock screens after pressing the doorbell. Seems that nobody has a suitable solution. There are a dozen of possible solutions you can find on the net but i tried them all without results.Other functionallities like a notification (sound and vision) on my Nest Hub and sound on my Nest mini's is in my opinion also a lack of functionallity but that can be solved in HomeAssistant which works great. I hope that Reolink comes with a solution for this irritating issue
Hello everyone,Can please someone give me a solution how i get a popup alert at my Samsung A52s phone whem someone hits my new Reolink Doorbell. The only thing i hear is a sound as if i get an email, whatsapp whatever what. No popup. The screen stays black. Also no popup as the screen is unlocked.I installed the app also on an Iphone and there is no problem at all. Okay it's only a popup which i can open and get a image while i want no manually action to open it but instead get the image automatic.But on my Samsung A52s (running android 13) i don't get the f...... popup. Tried everything i can find on the internet and that is not so much. Looks like i am the only one with his combination. Don't think it is the doorbell but the phoneWhat blocks this on my Samsung Phone? Hope someone is familiar with this problem. Please shareThanks in advanceGreetz, Paul

@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Thanks,I am aware of this article but the benefit of storing recordings on a sd card and later to a NAS, so i don't have to subscribe to a cloud service, fully dissapears when i have to subscribe to a Google Cloud service for this trick. Besides that i also read that not everyone managed it to work smoothless.
Hi there,I preordered the Reolink Doorbell and imho this is by far the most complete doorbell. Especially the storage part. But i am afraid this doorbell isn't perfect for 100%. But maybe i am wrong. What i miss is the notification on third Party equipment like Google Home although it should be Google compliant.When someone pushes the doorbell my Nest Hub won't let me see, and my Nest mini's don't let me hear that there is someone at the frontdoor. Isn't that part of the fact being "Google Home/ assistant" compliant? Isn't it a little detour to ask Google to stream the doorbell when someone rings the doorbell at the frontdoor?Is there a workaround for this? Are ther future plans to integrated this functionallity? I think this will make this doorbell simple the best you can get.
Okay. Read to quick. Sorry!! For me the most important thing is that the recordings can be stored on the NAS. Thanks for your timeGreetz, Paul
Didn't know you can turn your NAS in a NVR with a addon. But i am sure it isn't the case in an old NAS like my Netgear. But good to know that it's possible. I will remember when i buy a new NAS in the future.Yes the Reolink supports FTP. That i figured out before i bought them.Actually it is weird that you can store recordings directly to an SD card and not directly to a NAS. What's the difference? Maybe the fact that the SD is build in the cam.
A Netgear Reay NAS DUO V2
Thanks for the quick replyPity that the direct way isn't possible. But glad that there is a way without paying for cloud storage. There are not so many manufacturers where storing on own storage is possible which Reolink still is a good choice.ThanksGreetz, Paul
Can someone tells me how to store recordings from my 822A cam to my NAS. It isn't clear to me if that can be done directly which i prefer or is it so that the recordings only can be stored to a sd card from where i have to ftp them to my NAS?Thanks in advance,Greetz, Paul
