Why have the option to toggle 'stretch view' on the Windows and Mac client and not the iOS and Android app suddenly? Is there a logical reason for why the settings were removed from the mobile apps and not the software clients? I admin a few NVR's and the amount of users complaining to me about the new forced aspect ratio is bothersome. Please re-add the option for 'stretch view' on both mobile apps... and let the end user decide what works best for them. Also, pinching to have the zoom be locked to the center of the screen makes no sense. Instead of one combined motion of zoom and drag to view a detail anywhere other than the center... I now zoom, then drag, then zoom, then drag, and on and on. If it wasn't such a pain to revert / downgrade to a previous version in iOS, there is no question I'd be back on the previous build. If I was an Android user, there is no question I would be using an APK to get back on an acceptable release.
@vigy_591093180735512 I too have been having this problem for at least a week now. Takes at least a few minutes. Just took more than 10 minutes cycling through 'attempting to connect' 'failed' etc... I'm running windows 10 as well and have never had this issue connecting to the 3 NVRs at remote location. App on iOS connects just fine. Client on macOS connects fine as well. Just tested on Android and works fine. This is an issue somehow related to users using Windows (10 in my case) client. I tried reverting back to 8.8.5 thinking the most recent version released was the issue, but same issue exists after reverting to 8.8.5. Both my network and remote network are configured correctly and nothing has changed with my configs on either end. Fortunately for me (the network engineer), the business owners use iOS and macOS to connect to NVR's... otherwise this would be a HUGE pain in my a** attempting to break it to them they have to now wait between 2 and maybe 15 minutes to check security cameras. If I discover a magic fix... I will follow up... but I have done my due diligence and don't expect to be able to resolve this by tweaking a user facing setting.
