Not sure if anyone has already asked this question. I've recently bought a ColorX CX810. Picture with decent light is amazing and I'm impressed. However, if the camera needs a little more light you would have to enable the spotlight (at whatever light level it needs).

If you want to bring attention to the fact that you have security cameras, then switching the spotlight on is the way to do that! However, most people want discrete security systems that don't call attention to the fact that cameras are there. I've not changed over my main camera to the CX810 because I might need to enable the spotlight if background light is slower at times and do not want to call attention to the camera. Switching to an Infrared setting would truly make these cameras more versatile. The current problem with ColorX is that you will not know if it's going to function in the location that you intend to use it in, until you've bought it and tried is out for a few months. Only then might you discover that you might need more illumination and then you are back in the "do I want everyone to know I have Reolink cameras all over the place?"

PLEASE - ColorX, but also WITH Infrared lights/sensor like all normal range of cameras have.

I see that there are currently trials of a new CX810 ColorX 4K 8MP PoE Camera. Are there any timescales for when this might be released worldwide?
I'd love to be able to potentially replace all of my RLC-810A's (I have 6 of them) with these cameras, if they prove successful in the trials.

@reolinkshayla or a 4K version of the CX410? I could really use one of those and get rid of cameras with infrared lights that spiders just LOVE!

Might it be possible to make the playback time line events a better colour? Dark blue on black makes it difficult to see at times and I find I have to increase screen brightness to see all the very small capture events during the day. See my screen shot of what I mean. Maybe white horizontal bar with black events? And please change the times from grey to white! Or user changeable perhaps?

Even this latest version has not resolved the inability to access the Detection Alarm settings for the RLC810A.

If the camera (810A) has the latest firmware it will not show any information. However if one of the RLC810A cameras is of an older firmware it will show and you can adjust the settings as required (mask). "Loading Failed" is all that shows with the latest firmware on a camera (see image).
