@corky_737880191164642 looks like it relates to when I set up a push notification, then it always fails, if I select any of the other option it then works fine.Just to clarify I can add and save a scene fine on the E1 Zoom but when I select the scene it fails, only for push notifications.
I went to add my home and away scenes to the Reolink app but for some reason it keeps failing with the E1 Zoom camera, but my CX410 adds just fine ?I unplugged the E1 Zoom and back in again but I get the same issue.i did recently upgrade it to the latest firmware, so not sure if that caused it.Any ideas how to resolve it please.
@joseph_1979 definitely I agree.
@user_759604467699859_759604467699859in the end all I was offered was £20 off the camera, as there does not look like there will be a fix, so will put up with it until a better model comes out with a working mic.
@joseph_1979 yeh I tested the zoom now and agree the cx410 is worse.
@joseph_1979 ok well that’s a shame as I have just purchased the E1 Zoom as well, and not tested the mic as yet. It’s quite worrying considering how much they cost.my cheap blink camera has a better mic surly they have to address this issue otherwise it’s not fit for purpose ?
Since I’ve owned the CX410 camera I have not really gone round to testing the mic, until I stumbled upon a discussion about an existing mic issue, so I the tested it this morning and sure enough the sound picked up by the mic is bad, the sounds picked up by the mic are like an underwater effect, I heard a beefy car drive off this morning and it sounded really weird via the Apple app, not like the actual sound you should hearing from a camera. are there any updates on getting this addressed at all.
@joseph_1979 ok thanks, hopefully it’s sooner rather than later. I did click on the survey link but it’s ended now.
Regarding the scenes option I notice there is no way of knowing which scene is currently selected as the icon does not change, so say you have two icons called home and away when you go back into the app you have no clue which one was last selected, the only way I can see of confirming this is to go into settings to see if your notifications are on or off.is there a way to know without having to check in settings.
@joseph_1979 I just meant I think the app changed so it used to say timer but now says alarm delay.i won’t know if it helps until it rains hard at night, then see if I get person detected etc.thanks
@corky_737880191164642 I think it’s called alarm delay now, and not timer ?
@joseph_1979 ok many thanks, I will try this out. I did forget to say it only happens during the night when the rain seems more noticeable compared to daytime.
The last few weeks my CX410 detects a person and records it, but it’s just a heavy downpour of rain coming down in front of the camera.are any any adjustments to stop this occurring at all.Camera is on the latest firmware.
@joseph_1979 Thanks
@joseph_1979 hi ok thanks, I found out that the auto update does not work and there was a newer firmware out so I manually updated it and now it works fine. Like you I don’t want to use the any motion option either.Just wish we could have a quick arm or disarm option, I know it has scenes but this only lets you enable or disable notifications, I want a home mode that notifies and records during the night only, and an away mode that notifies all the time, so both day and night.
@joseph_1979 hi thanks for coming to me, yes that is how’s it’s set up, I was only saying when any motion is set then it works but detects everything including outside the garden.
Recently got the new CX410 camera and I cannot get it to push notify me when detecting people only. I’ve tried different sensitivity settings and nothing works. It only works when any motion is selected but that is no good for me because in this mode it ignores the non-detection mode I created as I don’t want to be notified outside my garden.any tips or tricks to get the camera to work please. It should work as advertised.
