@joseph_1979 definitely I agree.
@user_759604467699859_759604467699859in the end all I was offered was £20 off the camera, as there does not look like there will be a fix, so will put up with it until a better model comes out with a working mic.
@joseph_1979 yeh I tested the zoom now and agree the cx410 is worse.
@joseph_1979 ok well that’s a shame as I have just purchased the E1 Zoom as well, and not tested the mic as yet. It’s quite worrying considering how much they cost.my cheap blink camera has a better mic surly they have to address this issue otherwise it’s not fit for purpose ?
Since I’ve owned the CX410 camera I have not really gone round to testing the mic, until I stumbled upon a discussion about an existing mic issue, so I the tested it this morning and sure enough the sound picked up by the mic is bad, the sounds picked up by the mic are like an underwater effect, I heard a beefy car drive off this morning and it sounded really weird via the Apple app, not like the actual sound you should hearing from a camera. are there any updates on getting this addressed at all.
@joseph_1979 ok thanks, hopefully it’s sooner rather than later. I did click on the survey link but it’s ended now.
Regarding the scenes option I notice there is no way of knowing which scene is currently selected as the icon does not change, so say you have two icons called home and away when you go back into the app you have no clue which one was last selected, the only way I can see of confirming this is to go into settings to see if your notifications are on or off.is there a way to know without having to check in settings.
@joseph_1979 I just meant I think the app changed so it used to say timer but now says alarm delay.i won’t know if it helps until it rains hard at night, then see if I get person detected etc.thanks
@corky_737880191164642 I think it’s called alarm delay now, and not timer ?
@joseph_1979 ok many thanks, I will try this out. I did forget to say it only happens during the night when the rain seems more noticeable compared to daytime.
