So, uh, this is embarrassing. I double checked the IPC (Camera) firmware, and I mistakenly applied the firmware for the 420 to my 411. Doh. I applied the correct firmware last night and the problem has disappeared. Everything is back to normal. Add that to the known list of problems I guess? Thanks for the assistance guys. I appreciate it.
Thanks for the response, Quella. The camera is a RLC-411 and it's plugged into one of the POE ports in the RLN8-410 NVR. I also have a RLC-420 plugged into the NVR and it works fine. I get the same issue regardless of client: Windows, iPad, or Android. I've had this camera for about 7 months now and it was working perfectly until I performed the latest firmware upgrade last week. I upgraded both of the cameras and the NVR as per the included instructions.Maybe something with the firmware on the camera screwed up, so I will try it again.
This problem started after the latest firmware upgrade. Any dark colors (green, black, grey) show up on my playback as red. In the screenshot I attached, my wife and I are both wearing dark jackets, but they appear to be red. Even the evergreen tree shows up as red.Any ideas?IMG_0004.jpg
Add me to the list of customers requesting a better iPad app. Corey - the existing app works better when holding your iPad in portrait mode. It's not perfect though.
Thanks for the update. I performed the firmware upgrade to both the NVR and camera, but chrome is still asking for the plugin. Is there a change I need to make somewhere?
It downloads the zip file which contains the .dmg file for me. Here is the direct link: Mac client
Compare your settings with these: Gmail SMTP settingsI used the middle column called "Gmail SMTP server". Mine didn't work at first either, and then I received an email from Google about 15 minutes later stating that an un-trusted app was trying to send email from my account. It had the option to trust the app, which I did, and then it started working.Good luck.
Excellent. Thank you!
I have the RLC-411 and love it. I have it saving to a hard drive by using the client, which works well. I was hoping to use the android app to view saved files, but it doesn't appear that I can do this by saving files to a computer. Do I need to purchase the NVR for this functionality? Thanks.
