New Reolink Client v.8.8.5 - Auto Upgrade Client Feature!
To anyone else that is experiencing this issue, it was resolved by updating the Reolink Windows app to version 8.4.2. Note that the latest version, 8.5.1, seems to have other issues including unsynchronized cameras and choppy playback.
The issue remains, in fact, now it's all the channels doing it (1..3, channel 4 is not set to record). It always happens when the outdoor lights turn off, causing an alarm on all the cameras. Here's is the whole day. Issue starts at 2am:Zooming in, there is some gap where there is no recording:Note that I disabled the auto reboot and the NVR is powered by a UPS, so there's no reason for this gap. What can I do now? Thanks.Len
I had to drag my monitor to the basement and reassign cameras to the channels to align.
Hi. I updated the firmware to v126.96.36.199_21100909, and now the camera channels are backwards. Channel 1 is physically channel 4, 2 is 3, 3 is 2 and 4 is 1. Why would the channels in the software not line up with the channel ports on the back of the unit?
Hi. I have a RLN8-410 NVR with 4x RLC-520A. Firmware in NVR is v188.8.131.52_21031205. I've had two occasions now that one of the channels (same channel), after an alarm, started continuously logging an alarm. For example, when using the Reolink app, the playback had a solid blue line for the timeline. To fix this, I either reboot the NVR or disable and re-enable the recording Timer schedule for said channel. I've had the system in operation for about 6-months with no issues. Have others experienced this? Not sure if I should make a warranty claim or if this may get fixed in a new firmware.Thanks.
My apologies for wasting your time. My understanding of Alarm vs. Timer was wrong. Thanks for helping me through this.
How about the firmware on the NVR you're using? In order to access the scheduling for cameras 1 - 3, in the Reolink App I enabled the 'Enable Record' option, and even though camera 4 schedule is completely disabled, it is now recording again.
Hi Bill,My mistake, it was still recording even with the entire schedule for camera 4 disabled. I did find a way to get recording to stop on camera 4. I used Reolink Client and set the schedule toggle for camera 4 to OFF, but now when I use the Reolink App, it shows all recording as being disabled and I cannot modify schedules for cameras that are recording. What version of the Reolink App are you using? Thanks.
Hi Bill,Thanks for getting back to me. I rebooted the NVR and now it has stopped recording camera 4.Thanks again.
Thanks for getting back to me. That's exactly what I have done but that camera has continued to be recorded by the NVR. Any other ideas? Thanks.
