@reolink-fiona Thank you!!
This is a suggestion to ReoLink's team of developers. I suspect a lot of your customers, including me, use your solar-powered cameras to monitor the remote corners of large outdoor properties. Unfortunately, most of us cannot safely or feasibly run 120 volt or PoE ethernet cables to those far corners. Thus, we cannot install off-the-shelf WiFi repeaters to amplify the attenuated signal from our indoor routers and rooftop antennae.I have searched high and low for an integrated solar panel, battery and WiFi extension solution, but haven't found a single manufacturer that produces a low wattage, low voltage WiFi extender, unless it is a USB attachment to a notebook PC. The only thing I can come up with is using an old, discarded Android phone as a WiFi repeater, then nailing it, a USB powerbank and a ReoLink solar panel to a tree. There should be a better way. Surely, ReoLink's developers and sales department can design an integrated product to meet this need; I am confident your marketing team would see a lot of sales potential.The best analogy I can find is the Davis Solar-Powered 7654 Long Range Repeater (Google it for image and specs), which - unfortunately - does not operate on the 2.4 or 5.0 GHz bandwidth (it's for weather data systems, not WiFi). Still, if ReoLink offered something like this for 2.4/5.0 GHz WiFi, I would buy several.
