If you read the header it states the version number. You just did a cookie cutter response. Why is there no debug version so a log can be created so we can see if it can catch the failure. If you will not release one then put back the last version 7 on your website. It is more stable then this one.
When they released the new version before this on. 8.1.20 I think. It worked until Last week and started to go black screen after 8 hours. Upgraded to the new version and same issue. The video feed screen that is open will go out to a black screen and stop recording. I thought they fixed it but it started to fail as usual. I believe they have a issue with AMD 3400G CPU's. My PC also runs Plex 24/7 and never has a issue. So this tells me that the 3400G is fine. The old version 7 would crash but it took over 24 hours to crash. A better one where you just had to restart it. Does any one have a AMD 3400G build running the client?
I have the same issue again. The previous version to the new one worked for almost a month then your issue you described started again for me. It will then go black and stop recording. I upgraded and same issue. I thought they fixed it finally but it seems they did not fix it. They tricked me in thinking it was fixed so I did not install the SD cards for the cameras. Now I have to find time in the bitter cold to install the cards. I believe there software triggers something in Windows 10 Professional. The software barely runs for 8 hours.
Sorry but there is no exact time to when it flickers in the window screen of your software where it then just goes black. As stated it is the same issue as with version 7. Just version 7 can run more then 24 hours. I already bought sd cards that will arrive soon to install them into the cameras and let them do the recordings.
8.1.20 is broken Cynthia. You made me test it when it was beta and it flickers the camera feeds till it goes black and stops recording. Version 7 just crashes and turns off. Stop telling us to contact your support team who do not know what they are doing. We told you what is wrong. You dont ask for system specs or for what windows errors occurs. Its called run event viewer and you will see a BEX error. Please tell us what you ran this on that somehow you did not see any issue with it. Or did you not run it for 24/7.
I've been using it for months and it is broken software. It gives a BEX failure when you search windows crash report. There support I gave up on. They had me try there beta version 8 that would go to a blank screen in about 12 hours. Some one in the forum reported that issue already. I was able to see that a few hours in it would flicker the camera feeds before it failed. So I would stick with version 7 and restart it every day. I will say that Reolink made the software user friendly. I am going to try the software on my old mac mini and see if it is better on the MAC OS.
