Just in case the online specs are down playing features, this camera cannot use WiFi? I have pretty good outdoor WiFi where I would be interested in trying this and 4G tariffs in the UK are horribly expensive...
Just joined the forum, so excuse the lack of memory of previous topics.Just installed a RLC-823A, with stock firmware, and came here looking for tracking topics. Will install this test firmware and send feeback, but was wondering if there is any prospect in the future of also applying zoom to tracking, at least within a fixed range? My application is more trivial than most, I am deploying continually updated "cat cams" for my garden to spy on my furballs. I want a reasonably wide view in general, but then in one of them does something interesting/dumb (like jump up the small tree) it would be cute to zoom in on the action, so to speak.I am sure that there may be more serious uses for this too. Only negative, which is already an issue, is the auto-focus changes it would trigger.
