Hi kenmaples, NVRs with hardware H3MB16 come with older chips and they are not compatible with new software and other functions to support the smart detection cameras. Hope this clarifies.

Hello diivious, the NVR with H3MB18 hardware will work with the new smart detection cameras, including 510A, 810A, 520A, and 820A. The smart detection feature requires a hardware upgrade with an advanced chip inside the camera so we cannot upgrade the B800 cameras to support the smart detection feature. Hope this clarifies.

Most of the features are the same between the Argus 2 and Argus 2E camera. The camera sensor in Argus 2E is up-to-date and more affordable so Argus 2E would be less expensive compared to Argus 2. Also, the battery in Argus 2E is non-removable.

Hello Reolinkers, we have released the latest firmware for the 4-channel, 8-channel, and 16-channel NVRs. In this upgrade, we have improved their network connection and P2P connection and fixed some other bugs.

We are thrilled to announce that Reolink will soon release its first-ever IP cameras with the advanced person/vehicle detection, RLC-510A and RLC-810A. Time lapse feature enables you to capture hour-long or even day-long events, like sunrise, blooming and the work of building, etc. into minute-long videos or photo albums.

Below is a time lapse blooming video example captured with Reolink cameras.



This feature is fisrt applied on the newly released cameras including Argus 3, Argus 2E, RLC-510A, and RLC-810A.
Aside from the new cameras, the time lapse feature is also available on our star Argus series, including Argus 2, Argus PT, Argus Pro, and Argus Eco.



If you are using one of these cameras, please submit a request here, https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, and provide UID of your camera or attach a screenshot of the system as instructed here, https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004894193-How-to-Find-out-System-Information-via-Reolink-App. Before you can play with the time lapse feature, please back up all the existing videos on your SD card and format your SD card.
