i love the reolink products i have a lot of them but the doorbell....... its more a cam than a doorbell i use to have a laview one halo (its the same rebrand from ezviz db1) and i miss it.... the reolink only have a nice push notification so if someone ring the doorbell you will miss it unless you have the app open or your phone outh of your pocket and in front of you .... that it, for me its a mess... my old one use to open some kind of voip call ringing like hell so it doesnt matter i hear the ring and the app its ready for me to answer the call(without any monthy fee), but reolink dont.....dont forget it doesnt have any ring history so if you miss the ring you dont have any easy way to find when a who ring your doorbel like my old doorbell that show me a list with pictures by time who ring my front doorbell... yes i miss my old one... i hope reolink fix/upgrade their product... the only 2 cool things the auto response its funny you can record whatever you want and if you dont miss the ring you can set what message you want them to hear... and of course if you have many reolink cams like me you can see the video using the same app....
the speed in with the reolink app/windows and cams its greate.... i have only 110 mbps up/ 110down and work greate.... i have it using wifi but i use it with ethernet cable too..
maybe you have to check your router config...

@x4910ll_499434391175372 i have the same problem.... i have to ask someone to build some cages using some iron bars and instal them with expansion screws for rlc-511w and the same for the floodlight cam since someone can climb and try to take them down(yeah sound crazy but i have have seen so many crazy people doing the same spiderman does).
just be sure to let enought space for the lends make some test befor install it or you will have an image with bars blocking the view

@big_ted i have the same mesage the last weekend i have 2 rlc-511w .... only one got the update the reolink app show up that message and start updating it whats going on?

hi, could you make a DUO FLOODLIGHT PTZ CAM? with external 3.5 jack port so it can have connection to some good speakers or sound system?
the duo flood light 4k wifi its awesome but sometimes you want to take a look of some specific place and have a ptz(pant tilt will be usefull)....i know you have the trackmix wich its a good product too but those tiny lights dont scare any thief trust me i know...
i know too that floodlight have a nice 2 way audio..... but if i want some one to hear my voice when the cam its up to 5 mts up its a lil complicated.... so a way to connect a 3.5 jack like some amcrest cams that i have tested will be really cool, with that i can connect a good speakers and talk to any thief nicely.....
and maybe a auto response message will be nice too something that any invader will scare you know an alarm its nice but hear that someone its calling the cops its much better....

its something funny that every 5h1ttuber doesnt talk about it.... everyone say its awesome its cool buy it but no one talk about the lack of this features.... ahh dont forget the doorbell over heat so imagine that your house front take the whole sun rise and the temp in the street goes up to the hell.... really funny my old doorbell was always cool.....

welcome to my hell.... i use to have a laview one halo(it was a rebranded db1 etc ) my old door bell use to open the app with a "voip call" ready so i can talk wit the person in front on it use to ring a lot so i cant miss it even with it in my pocket....
another lack feature a ring history register.... if for some kind of reason i miss the call i use to see a full list with date time and a picture saved in the sd of my doorbel so i can see who was the one ringing and when it happend....
the reaolink make loose my time searching if someone came to my home.... while im far away.....
it really dissapoint me

theres another thing that i miss when i wrote this post..... a ring registry i dont see any registry..... letme explain my old doorbell when someone ring on it take a picture and save it in my sd card so if for some kind of reason i dont see the person or miss the doorbell call i have a list with date, time, and a picture of everyone that ring that doorbell ..... its really really really disappointing that a doorbell 4 years old with the same specs was more usefull and reliable than this brand new.....
and before i forget the auto notifications doesnt work... i set up a custom audio notification and the thing doesnt work at all welll just one 2 days ago after almost 50 visitors ring on it.... and no its not my internet not my wifi or cable network ....

hi, i love the reolink products..... all my cams in my house and offfice are reolink all but one.... my doorbell, well it was... my old doorbell was a Laview One Halo(witch is a 4 year old and has the same specs as the reolink) was broken by some crazy guy so i had to buy a new doorbell and i say ok lets go for reolink doorbell wifi version
Its a good product dont getme wrong but.......... it over heat.... wich its crazy because it wont get any cool when i install it in the wall in front of my house and the sun rise in front of it and the street temp goes up arround 40C...
But whats really disappointing me it that it only have notifications.... really???? only a little tiny push notification? really???? every time someone ring it only sendme a lil notification, what happend if im driving or has my phone in my poket or in a noisy place, if i dont have the phone in my hand i will miss the notificacion.
My old doorbell app (One Halo)) ring on my phone everytime someone press the button on the doorbell, it use to ring like hell, the app use to auto open a preview screen with the button for answer the video call, like like when you recieve an incoming call whatsapp/FB messenger video call with preview video etc... so it doesnt matter if im driving, in a metting or i have the phone in my pocket its imposible to miss that kind of thing....
