This has been asked many times and still needs to be asked again. Can Reolink please put in a process for the firmware update/download page to be update with the latest firmwares (and preferably previous versions)as this is creating massive confusion as to what the latest versions are. Ive got cameras that have been updated 2 or 3 times via updates beingemailed on request and the versions differ drastically to what is on the site. This would also save many of the customer complaints on all media platforms.I have also send this request into support numerous times too.

Review Trackmix LTE Plus So I have been lucky enough to test out the new Reolink Trackmix LTE Plus camera. Photos and links to some clips are below. I have been provided with a test unit with no financial benefit other than writing a review of how I have found it. Build Quality:This set appears to be made very well. Everything went together without any issues. The solar panel and bracket are made to a high standard and all arrive packaged very well. The solar panel mounting bracket and arm are very heavy duty, possibly an overkill but doesn’t impede operation at all. You will need a solid mounting point for this setup as it does weigh a decent amount (package was around 15kg total). The movement of the PTZ works well as does the motion detection. Camera was used in an area with excellent 4g signal and there was a slight delay in movement from client. I found that setting a few way points was a better option and was smoother than trying to manually move the camera.Recording: recording quality is at a level that I would expect for a camera like this. Certainly not movie quality, but it is designed for operation where normal wifi connection is not available. The zoom works well, even at night. Ive used the camera where there is a long distance to cover and I have no issues. The dual lenses worked well and is fantastic to be able to zoom in a fairly long distance.Battery:So far we have not had any issues with battery levels dropping. The panel keeps the battery at 100% all day and have only had it down into mid 90% during the night time. Time will tell with a week or 2 of constant cloud and rain, but I still don’t think will have any issues. Conclusion:So far this is the best 4g battery camera I have used. I don’t see any issues with battery and build quality exceeded what I would have expected for this type of camera. The included tool kit was also a nice touch. Only complaint is the sheer size, which really is not an issue and hoping that there is future software updates to improve some of the response to moving the camera, other than that I do highly recommend.

@joseph_1979 I believe the standard RLC-511W is limited to 128gb, and the WA is 256gb. https://reolink.com/files/docs/specs/RLC-511W-IP-Camera-Specifications.pdf
@reolink-fiona Things I would love to see, although I think Reolink is going in the right direction1) Standalone Infrared light that could be used alongside cameras.2) A large image sensor version of the 811A cameras, that has improved image quality and clarity. Something with very high image detail3) software improvements for app/client effeciency and software/firmware update via app/client
No issues so far. I have reached out to support for the change log details
@reolink-oskar Mostly improvements in Reolink software - such as better marking of motion trigger, improvements to recording of motion events, improvements in image clarity and quality, not necessarily more pixels. Reolink already has great hardware with so much potential for software improvements.
@reolink-lorenz This is an excellent step forward in improving customer service.
For those with a Home Hub, Check your firmware update in the App. V3.3.0.387_25040148 was release for the BASE_WUNNT6NA5 Home Hub. Once again there is no update/change list but I have requested and will post when I hear back. Initial check appears added support for the Reolink range extender mesh devices.
@pfurrie_352983526531236 Email to support with the hardware version and your current firmware version and they will let you know if a newer firmware exists. Normally they would push it to your camera or email it out
Over the last few weeks, I have been testing the Argus 4 pro cams with the new Home Hub. I have been using a variety of Reolink cameras over the years such as 4G, WIFI, POE and battery cams. Normally I have individually saved my recordings to an internal SD card and although the NVR’s are great for lots of people, I have never needed one as my cameras are spread out over multiple sites and sd cards have worked well. When my parcel arrived, I quickly unpacked to get a good look. The Hub itself was small and would easily sit anywhere that can be connected via network cable. Setup was simple and I had the Hub connected to my android apps and PC software in no time. The Home Hub connects to power and to the router via ethernet.Built in 2.4ghz and 5ghz WIFI works well, although compared to my existing router the range was slightly less but still no complaints with range. Having a dedicated Wi-Fi from the Home Hub to the cameras can help reduce interference and congestion on existing networks. Adding a camera to the hub was quick and painless and to my surprise, if you need to remove a camera from the Home Hub, it is quick and then a camera is operating solo in no time. Please note that for any cameras with internal storage recordings, I wasn’t able to access while the camera was connected to the Home Hub. That being said, its not really an issue as its so simple to make the camera solo, access any prior recordings and connect back, so really more an FYI than complaint there. In the App, the Hub shows as its own device with connected cameras attached, while all other non-connected cams still showing as normal in the App. Settings are easy to access, footage encryption has also been added in case of theft.Supporting 8 Cameras on the Home Hub, this should be more than enough for the average person. Those needing more can look at the Home Hub Pro, supporting up to 24 cameras. That being said, I am running cameras on the Home Hub and simultaneously individually running other cameras not connected to the Hub, still via the same app, so really no limitation there. This also allows if cameras are connected to range extenders around the property where the Home Hub WIFI may not reach. Argus 4 Pro.I have an existing Argus 4 pro standalone camera operating and have been super impressed as a solar/battery cam in its operation and battery run time. Even with all settings and sensitivities at maximum I have never ran the battery flat, even in areas with minimal sunlight coverage.Colour night vision works well, although without the camera lights or surrounding light, it doesn’t work at night in the area I have been testing it as I need proper IR night vision. I have added a photo comparison with the camera vs a photo from a Samsung S24 Ultra at the same time in evening light. Conclusion:The Home Hub is a fantastic addition to the Reolink range. Its simplicity in setup, discrete appearance makes it suitable for all households regardless of experience. Single point of camera footage backup is great, especially for those who are worried about a particular camera being stolen along with the internal footage. The addition of being able to encrypt recordings is also fantastic, although I haven’t yet put that to the test.Looking forward to future software updates from Reolink for the Home Hub and how Reolink will further integrate its functionality into its range.
@joseph_1979 haha yeh, i got the same introduction reply asking why I contacted 3 times before we got there lol I have reported this again as unprofessional...
See the change log below for V8.18.10_0:
Im suspecting that more was changed, but this is all the information provided.
@reolink-oskar As per previous feedback, all firmware and software updates should have a change log/update list, specially when Reolink recommends running the latest versions. Most people WILL NOT update unless they know what has changed as sometimes particular this are removed that they require. Once again, please pass this feedback on as it appears less and less updates include a change log!!!
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I have also been reporting this change to the support replies. I used to get everything resolved straight away but the last few requests have had terrible replies such as this. All we can do is continue to place feedback and hope that Reolink takes it on board. It really is a bad look for the business.
@qb_6723597436 I dont use Mac, but maybe try turning off the hardware decoding. This used to fix a lot of crashes/ blank screens
@david-a_371159357874379 no but I am waiting on a reply with the changes and will post here when I get them.
