@reolink-fiona Thanks for the response. I thought something like that might be the case. Might there be any plans to have the client support this use case in the future? Seems like short-coming. I would think that the purpose of the client would be to allow users to avoid using the NVR monitor as much as possible.
It's not clear to me how to add and delete cameras using the Windows client. I installed the version of the client last week. Our setup is as follows: There are 13 POE cameras attached to a POE switch. There are also 2 16-channel NVRs on the network which were configured by the company that installed them last year. Even though they're POE NVRs they're not currently used as POE switches. Not sure why they have two 16 channel NVRs since they currently have fewer than 16 cameras. While logged in as "admin", it looks like both NVRs see each of the cameras on the network since they're not physically connected. When I right-mouse on a camera listed in the device tree in the left panel I only get the "Rename" option. I'm expecting to see a "Delete" option as well like I get when I right-mouse on an NVR in the panel. Am I thinking wrong on this? Is there a different way to remove cameras from an NVR in the client? They do plan on adding more cameras soon. Since there will be more than 16 of them I'll have to add the new cameras. It doesn't look to me like the "Add Device" button in the left panel supports adding cameras to NVRs although I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I'm more interested in deleting cameras from NVRs at the moment.Scott
