I have 7 cameras - 820, 842 and 1 E1 and 1 E1 Pro. The E1's routinely don't show in the Mac app but do show fine in the IOS app. All I see is a play button. When I click it nothing happens. It says that the camera is connected. All non-E1 cameras display automatically. I tried deleting and adding the cameras again. No luck. Does the Mac client not work with E1 cameras?
My Reolink E1 is reporting the wrong time and it is reporting it in 24 hour military style. I have gone through all of the menus on the app and can't find a way to change this? I have searched the forum and found nothing. Please help. Thanks.
I am switching from Blue Iris to frigate. I want to use RTMP as the RTSP stream has too many artifacts. Substream works fine, main stream gives nothing. Checked around and someone reposted something from the Reolink Facebook group about a year or so ago from someone at Reolink stating that main stream RTMP will be turned on at some point. Is it true that RTMP main stream is turned off? If so, when will it be turned on?All cameras are running the latest firmware - just checked again.
How do I change the picture the app uses in the detection zone screen. I need to adjust the detection zone but it is showing me a night picture which makes it hard to see anything. I would like it to refresh with a daytime picture but I can't see a way to change it? Thanks.
I have read threads around that there is beta firmware floating around that allows you to adjust the iframe setting on the 820. Can someone point me to this as I can't find it anywhere. Thanks.
Found it - there are now switches to turn RTSP and ONVIF on/off in port settings and they are OFF by default. Seriously?
I was running v3.0.0.177_21012101 on my 520a hardware version IPC_523128M8MP. Had everything configured and working in Blue Iris. Then upgraded to v3.1.0.764_21121701. Nothing in BI.Tried adding as a new camera - it finds the camera but no automatic configuration done and it doesn't work. Also, where can I find v3.0.0.177_21012101 firmware to step back in case I can't get this working? Thanks.
Just found this on Reddit:https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/k6sex5/rtsp_main_not_working_on_rlc810a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmfHaven’t tried it yet but looks promising. Despite the cameras reporting that they have latest firmware there is apparently a newer firmware available. Will try and report back.
Thanks for the response @Crimp On. I did download the ONVIF Device Manager as suggested and I get No Signal for both cameras on _main. Is there anything specific in ONVIF Device Manager that I can use to investigate this further? Also, is there anything in the Reolink settings that could disable this particular stream? Again, I am using all out of the box default settings.I have also sent an email to technical support - there doesn't appear to be anyway to call them other than an international number in Hong Kong.
I just setup two RLC-820a's on my workbench. I set them up with default settings. I am able to access the sub stream but not the main stream. I am using the standard rtsp://admin:password@ip_address:554//h264Preview_01_sub and _main URLs. It is opening the sub stream in VLC fine, the main stream throws an error "your input can't be opened".When I log into the camera directly using the IP it will stream fluent and balanced but clear says it can't do it.I am running everything on the same POE gigabit switch on my workbench so network shouldn't be an issue.Default config appears to be 3840x2160, 25 FPS and 6144 nitrate for clear and 640x360, 10 FPS and 256 bitrate for fluent. I don't see any options for setting the encoding? What am I missing here? Thanks.
