@cynthia_124785627824270 Any news on this upgrade?I am a new user of RLK8-820D4-A and am already sick to death of the false alarms from rain. So much so that I have had to turn of "push notifications" making the system as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike!!If this is not going to be sorted then I will return the whole lot as unfit for purpose which would be a shame as apart from this the system is quite good
@joseph_1979 I paid someone to set this thing up and you are now saying that to get it to work I will have to pay again as I have not got a clue what you mean by "UID". I know the guy who set it up did NOT have to add each camera one by one. Reolink borked this and THEY should issue software to fix it and as Nacaster says at least answer our concerns. Disgusting attitude from them!
Hi, I have the exact same issue where ALL 6 CAMERAS are now pixilated and every time I restart the app it needs to update again before it will even open anything. How do I go back to the old software please?30 min later and I have restarted my PC to try resolve the issue and now I have NO CONNECTION AT ALL to my system and am unable to view anything. I found 8.8.5 on my drive so uninstalled the new update and tried the old version and still no connection to my system.I have a second PC and the software on that one is 8.7 and that still works so thank you reolink for serving me un working software that has borked my whole system!!
@joseph_1979 I am sorry if I come across as having a go at you like you were the one that did this. Just hoping that maybe someone from Reolink will see this and get of their ass and do something about it. I am not the only one with this issue caused by them. I shouldnt have to become a computer guru to fix their issue with borked software.
@big_ted Being as another moderator in a different thread is stating that the latest update is 64bit and installs as a separate entity just how do you think this will fix anything? The old one is 32 bit so can not be overwritten by the new, broken/not fit for purpose, update.Maybe moderators should be getting onto Reolink and pressing them to sort this out instead of trying to get end users to sort out this problem. They have not even spoken or replied about this problem. What a sham company as even Microsoft, the undisputed masters of sending out broken updates, say sorry and acknowledge their errors!
