Wishlist:Wi-Fi PTZ (ColorX Night Vision) Camera with Floodlights that is hardwired into a normal US Line Voltage (110-120V) outlet. Then life would be so much better.
@joseph_1979 what I found out is setting the pre-motion on is what is causing the drain. when you look at the battery stats it says it is in use all of the time. turning that off brings that battery back to normal. I've tested that a few times.
I just got one of the new ultras and it wasn't charging with the 6v panel. After seeing that the running time on the battery was none stop I went in and reapplied all of the recording settings even if they looked ok and after a few reboots that stopped and I noticed the lightning bolt on the battery. All has been well since then.
@reolink-oskar thermal with a good optical zoom
I would like to see an NVR with more input/outputs. Why, because of legacy hard wired security systems. Currently I have all of my doors and garage doors hooked up to the 36 ports NVR which has the most input/outputs but I could add all of my windows, etc if the NVR had more!and while you are at it why separate the cameras from the security system environment? Go ahead and add water sensors, temperature sensors, smoke alarm, CO2...
Thermal as I live on a large property but you know what I would like to see? A cell 4/5g fall back for when someone tries to cut your power and internet. All of this is useless if someone cuts your power and internet and your system nvr/cameras can't alert out.
@joseph_1979 My firmware was up to date. I set it to 5s and it seems to be better now.I think the issue is the road is about 150 feet from the house so cars seem small which might confuse the system. I also noticed when walking in the yard pulling a wagon it alerts pet. But after the adjustment it seems better. It was just annoying getting 2 alerts all of the time.
Every time a car goes by I get 1 alert for vehicle and 1 alert for pet... How do I reset that?
I don't have one of these yet but is there a way to mount the E1 under an eve or better said, from a ceiling? It looks like you can only mount it to a wall.
So does this also require a sim card? I enabled everything as outlined here (clear mode and Motion Mark Beta enabled) but nothing changed as in no motion marks. RLC-842A's and Trackmix POE.On the IOS app you have an NVR and all the cameras listed there but further below you have the cameras listed again and that is where you enable the Motion Mark. But if I try to view from there it says no sim card so I go back up to the top under the NVR and select the same camera and then select PlayBack. What I see is only the 60 minute packs but when one of the packs detects motion it will stop the pack and start the next pack. So most of the time I can search for the motion alert at the end of the cut off pack.Maybe I'm doing some wrong but I did follow all of the step and understand--- BETA...
