Reolink PC Client software stops recording

Hello,
i wanted to film with my new RLC-822A 8 hours at once...
i tried to use the Desktop App for that reason:
connected with the camera, and clicked on the "camera-button"
it asked for an directory..
and: it worked.. videos go into that directory
after some time a new file is created, or when i stop the recording imediatly
(so it is somewhere cached until it is saved in the directory (?) )
well..
after some time (30min, 70min, 1h...) it stops recording
why ?
how is the correct way to record for 8h straight, without movement-detection
the notebook was connected via wifi with the router where the cam was conneted to

Hi there, you can check your recording setting.
Please enable the camera recording and set up the camera "Timer" recording schedule. The timer schedule will record 24/7 and the alarm schedule will record when it detects motions. You can set it up per your demand.

For the recording location, You can record to an SD card or PC. If you insert an SD card into the camera, it will record to the SD card. It can also record on the PC.
