      Hello,
i used to have an Argus 3 camera.
During the night, the infrared leds remained off until a motion was detected.

Now i have a RLC-410W camera. Unlike the other model, the infrared leds are on all night long. The problem is that these leds on attract insects during the night, which creates many motion alerts. The solution is to lower the sensivity of the captor, but in this case the movements of malicious people may not be detected.
It seems impossible to turn the leds off, and turn them on only when there is a movement.

      Is there a solution ?

      Thanks in advance !

@jphilippe_vedrine_361700589715644 Hello there, you can turn off the infrared LEDs via the mobile app. Tap on camera settings->Advance->Infrared LEDs->Stay Off.

Note that the nighttime image quality may drop when the IR lights are off. It is best to add an external light source next to the camera. Hope this helps.

            Hello,
if I turn off the infrared LEDS, they wont light up when a motion is detected and the video quality will be quite low.
It is possible to program the camera the same way as the Argus 3, so that the infrared LEDS keep turned off until a motion is detected ?

The IR light can just set to auto-on when the environment gets dark. It is not motion detected. So it can't be set to motion detected like the spotlight.
