Software update suggestion: Lighting change triggers motion event

I would like the option to trigger a motion event when the camera detects significant lighting changes, such as when a floodlight turns on.

If I could tell the camera to behave this way, then even if the camera's own motion sensor hasn't detected motion (for example, walking straight toward the camera), if the floodlight is triggered, the camera would be triggered too.

This idea is similar to the daisy chain idea, but I think it is much more simple. It should work with any motion sensor flood light.

Good morning folks!

I have installed an RLC-822A and have discovered that it does send me notifications when a light is turned on or off. Perhaps this is due to the sensitivity settings I have selected, but it's a pleasant discovery for me, as it means that motion detected by floodlight sensors can trigger an alert from the camera.

Really happy about this.

For Reolink - this might be a good AI update. If the camera's AI determines a light has turned on, it can send a more specific alert.
