      It seems like that, although the E1 Outdoor allows moving the camera horizontally and vertically, the auto-tracking of people or vehicles in motions only follows horizontal (left/right) and not vertical (up/down). Is this correct or am I missing something?

          @jandernach_506784507535576 Hi there, thank you for reaching out. And yes, E1 Outdoor supports auto-tracking in the horizontal direction only. Hope this helps.

            Hello,

            why aren't you implementing the vertical tracking too? Or are there any plans for that in the future?

            Thx 🙂

              @wendel-anke_512741452226775 I don't think the vertical tracking feature will be added to the E1 Outdoor camera soon. If there are any updates, I will let you know.

                @reolink-lorenz - Thanks so much for your prompt answer Lorenz. No problem, I just wanted to make sure that I am not missing anything on the E1 Outdoor. Are there currently any cameras that also support Auto-Tracking in the vertical movement?

                  @jandernach_506784507535576 You are very welcome.

                  The 823A and 523WA cameras support both horizontal and vertical tracking. You may click the links below to learn more:

                    @reolink-lorenz - Great! I will definitely look at those 2. I apologize but one more question if you don't mind: While looking at the specs for the different cameras I find the information about the distance for the infrared night vision which is great for comparison. Is there also a difference regarding at what distance motion is detected between the different cameras? I have a few of the Argus 3 as well as the E1 Outdoor. It seems like the E1 Outdoor does detect motion earlier compared to the Argus 3. Is this the case and is there any information about at what distance each camera detects motion and starts recording?

                      The Argus 3 pro uses the PIR to detect the motion. The detection distance will be related to the sensitivity and PIR angle. You can know more about the distance here, https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000605283-How-to-Adjust-PIR-Angle.

                      For the E1 Outdoor, it uses motion detection and AI detection. The distance for the AI detection is up to 10 meters.

                      The RLC-823A and RLC-523WA also use motion detection and AI detection technology.
