Has anyone experienced this?
In addition, Their product registration website is not working.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I thought this was a LEGIT company.
I own 8 Lumus - counting the one I'm returning with the broken seal.
Is representing and selling "OPENED" items as "NEW" even legal?
Should I contact Consumer Protection or a lawyer?
TIA !!!Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

What problem do you meet with the product registration? You can click here to register the product, https://reolink.com/product-registration/. If it does not work, you can give me some screenshots to check.
Sometimes the seal is open because of the customs inspection. If you think that it is opened in an abnormal way, you can contact our support team and we will help. Submit a request – Reolink Support -

Hello Fiona:
Thank you for the reply.
The "problem" with the registration link appeared to be with the Chrome browser on my desktop.
Used my laptop (Chrome browser) and successfully registered the cam I purchased on 5/5/2002.Regarding the broken, scotch-taped box on 1 of the 2 cams I purchased on 5/17/2002, order # 2122005:
That cam was shipped from the US, a corner on the box is severy dented, and the seal is scotch-taped closed. (I took photos)
This is my eighth Lumus cam and I'm SHOCKED to see this!
Is it normal practice at reolink to sell "opened items" as new?
Is that even LEGAL?
I'll follow your instruction and if there is even a slight "hiccup" in replacing the opened item, I'll be contacting an attorney and filing complaints with ALL the Consumer Protection agencies I can find well as posting my experience ALL OVER THE WEB.
What an UNNECESSARY, REDICULOUS, WASTE OF TIME !!!
Thank you for your help.
