@reolink-fiona THANK YOU for a logical explanation!I also received a similar/same from Beatrice.Makes COMPLETE sense.My apologies for "going" off, but I was at the end of my rope, as they say.I'm actually quite satisfied with the cameras' performance and actually recommended an Reolink NVR system to my cousin last week.I feel that Reolink is a cost effective and good solution for security needs.Thanks again and feel free to delete my rant above.
@bocephus_371391602962608 Like MAGIC, Reolink replied to BOTH of my issues.It appears one needs to resort to VULAGARITY to get anything done.Their products and service still SUCK.
LOL.
@reolink-lorenz How about a power adapter that WORKS for more than a year?WAIT 3 weeks for a part for a SECURITY cam?How about STOCKING extra adapters since they are POOR CONSTRUCTION and FAILING?ANOTHER adapter just failed!Appears to be a QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM.Just beacause you provide a replacement doesn't make it "ok".
@bocephus_371391602962608 Ridiculous, NOT Rediculous.
@reolink-fiona Hello Fiona:Thank you for the reply. The "problem" with the registration link appeared to be with the Chrome browser on my desktop.Used my laptop (Chrome browser) and successfully registered the cam I purchased on 5/5/2002.
That cam was shipped from the US, a corner on the box is severy dented, and the seal is scotch-taped closed. (I took photos)This is my eighth Lumus cam and I'm SHOCKED to see this!Is it normal practice at reolink to sell "opened items" as new?Is that even LEGAL?I'll follow your instruction and if there is even a slight "hiccup" in replacing the opened item, I'll be contacting an attorney and filing complaints with ALL the Consumer Protection agencies I can find well as posting my experience ALL OVER THE WEB.What an UNNECESSARY, REDICULOUS, WASTE OF TIME !!!Thank you for your help.
Has anyone experienced this?In addition, Their product registration website is not working.Is anyone else experiencing this?I thought this was a LEGIT company.I own 8 Lumus - counting the one I'm returning with the broken seal.Is representing and selling "OPENED" items as "NEW" even legal?Should I contact Consumer Protection or a lawyer?TIA !!!
I'm very disappointed with the quality of the power adapters for the Lumus cameras.I have 5 cams and 2 of the power adapters have failed within the last year.Now, Reolink tells me that they're out of stock and it's a 10-15 day wait for shipment from Hong Kong.SLOPPY ORGANIZATION. I feel like I've invested in TOYS, not anything to be relied on.SHAME ON YOU, Reolink!
