It would be great if you guys sold a solar-powered wifi hotspot. In that way, one could power multiple solar-powered wifi cameras in a similar location without needing to pay for multiple SIM cards each month.
OR
If you could make the Reolink Go or Go PT cameras also send out a wifi signal from the SIM in them so any 2ndary cameras could use WIFI instead of each needing their own SIM. Thanks!Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

For this you could use a portable hotspot device with simcard that has wifi. Can connect WIFI cameras straight to this and only pay 1 sim. Lots of wifi hotspots charge via USB, so could easily power via solar -
@craig-brooker_166029527974023 Just a 4G solar powered router and having Reolink solar powered WIFI cameras and voila'.

I wish Reolink would create something like the Cuddeback Cuddelink system. This is where there is 1 camera with a 4G sim card and the cell plan, and other cameras link to that main 4G camera. There are some drawbacks with the Cuddeback cameras and would love to move over to Reolink for this situation.

@jenebo_470019197218988 You can use WIFI cameras and a 4G router. Try to avoid HSPA (3G) and go for 4G (LTE) or 5G (though these maybe a bit expensive). I tested a 5G router and got a speed of 1.3G bps on an operator packet core network.
