@reolink-fiona ive ran new ethernet cable under the house and setup POE ready to go to test mine. Will be a great addition to the Reolink family...
Horay, my Reolink Video doorbell Poe has arrived. Havent had a chance to install and get up and running yet, but have opened and checked it out.See photos below.
@reolink-fiona Things I would love to see, although I think Reolink is going in the right direction1) Standalone Infrared light that could be used alongside cameras.2) A large image sensor version of the 811A cameras, that has improved image quality and clarity. Something with very high image detail3) software improvements for app/client effeciency and software/firmware update via app/client
Is the windows client 8.7.3 available?I managed to download the 8.7.3 client installer but the software version is now showing 8.7.1
Have just setup a new E1 indoor camera. From unboxing to fully setup was less than a few minutes. Just open the app, select add camera and scan the qr code. Literally connected straight to wifi, no hassle. Windows client auto recognised the device on the network and just needed the correct username and password to connect. Will do some video tests to see how it performs with animals running around the house.Photos from unboxing below.
@reolink-fiona Updated and so far running well.
@faasio82_480971996033257 Im running 4.29.08 and have found to be the most reliable so far. no issues on multiple devices-Running multiple wireless and POE cameras no issue.have disable hardware acceleration however, but have needed that off to work for the last few versions.
@curlsif your client and camera firmware are up to date you should have these options.
@reolink-fiona Is it possible for a link to be attached for a manual android app download for those who dont use the play store?the website still only lists v4.28.08
@gsieben_265907787661543 The problem appears to be a conflict or compatibility with some graphics cards. If you can turn off hardware decoding that should fix it.Latest Beta version link below:https://community.reolink.com/topic/3746/client-v8-8-0-beta-test-finally-the-time-lapse-function-on-the-client
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Yes certainly are. Will be doing some battery tests and will post the results
Sample image of the vision from each of the lenses
A few more photos of getting it setup.
@jirimar_444512660914393 This was added with this version and newer- https://community.reolink.com/topic/3401/client-v-8-7-3-now-available-on-download-center-added-fixed-frame-rate-setting?post_id=13789&_=1674763234727
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 Is the 2.4 and 5ghz broadcasted as separate networks or combined and the devices determines which to use? Also is there a reason for using 2.4 over 5ghz for the 511w camera?*appologies if these have already been asked*
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Will have a proper look over it before its setup and check. I do certainly hope it is otherwise will be rusted in no time where I live.quality is good at a glance though.
So had a massive 15kg box arrive today. Safe to say was very pleasantly suprised of what was inside. Heres a little tease. So far i'd have to say the quality the panel, which is massive, and the bracket are made very well. More to come once I have it setup. And will have better quality photos!!https://youtube.com/shorts/oMktkgs5X2w?feature=share
