The property I want to mount the Keen Ranger PT on has very few trees and lots of tall shrubs with slender limbs. What about mounting the Ranger and the solar panel on a tall, metal fence post? Any ideas as to how to do that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

@user_591002529730609_591002529730609 That will be ok to mount the KEEN Ranger PT on the Metal Fence Post. But too much metal might affect the signal. Now there will be a strap in the package for you to install the camera.

            • Thanks, Fiona!

            • A strap does not seem very safe or secure on a slender bush branch or a metal fence post.
            • What about using a wooden post? I would hate to have to anchor that in concrete.
            • Reolink really should offer some solutions since not everyone has trees to which they can secure the camera.

How about bolting a piece of 1x6 about 12" long to the fence post (with 3 carriage bolts.
Then screw the Keen camera mount to the wood using the provided holes.
Then screw the Solar panel to the wood above the camera.
If the solar panel would get better light mounted on the back side of the fence post, then bolt two pieces of wood to the fence post and mount the camera and solar panel on opposite sides.
