I have the Duo 2 POE connected to a Reolink NVR. One of the cameras I am setting up is quite far from a power source, hence the need for POE. It seems you can't set detection zones when connected this way, the options are grayed out on the NVR interface. I can wire the camera to my router (no POE from that) and plug it in to a wall outlet for power and have the ability to set detection zones. But I can't set the zones until the camera is mounted in its final position, and there is no outlet anywhere near there. The funny thing is, I can change detection zones for the wifi cameras from the NVR interface. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Why can't the detection zones be changed for the POE cameras from the NVR interface?

I'm having the same issue but haven't tried plugging it into a wall outlet. When you hooked it up to your router were you only able to change the detection zones using the app? Also, what were the specs on the 12v power supply you used.
          Thanks

@crash_621478004826165 Power requirements for DUO 2 is DC 12V 2A. Have you checked that you have the most updated firmware on both the NVR and cameras? If you still unable to set the detection zones through the NVR then email support. They should get back within two working days.

I contacted them first. I upgraded the firmware on the camera. The NVR was already up to date. They sent me links to videos I already watched. I haven't heard anything more from them. I did source a power supply for the camera but I can't connect to the NVR through the router though (as the op had tried). I'm not sure what to try next.

Found the problem. The NVR stated I had the most updated firmware. It was not. I can now access the detection settings, etc.
