I have one camera of four, that resets every night causing privacy screens, camera name and detection areas to need resetting each day. I keep the audio on and the infrared lights off and they need to be reset each day. I have reset the camera once, deleted and reinstalled both manually and automatically but the problem persists. The camera itself works fine.
Any ideas on what the problem is? Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

I would reinstall the firmware regardless if it's a newer version or not. Also, don't rely on the firmware version check where you click/tap a button. Go to the web page for the camera's firmware and check the newest version number compared to your camera's version. Mine didn't see an update when I clicked but there was newer firmware at their site. I haven't had the problem you have but your firmware could be corrupted. Is it possible that someone else has access to that camera and they're doing it on purpose? Have you tried changing your password? -
@email_525317533946102 I have not but will now and in the process of updating - thanks! Will post results.

Have a v2 hardware and it's doing the same (resetting every few hours). Applied latest firmware (contacted Support as it's not listed on website for V2 hardware)

Problem was a faulty patch cable to the camera, causing an intermittent camera reset.
No issues since replacing the cable (that appeared to have damage from being kinked/squashed.
