I have a RLC-823A camera connected to an NVR. I am trying to setup a patrol however it doesn't take the shortest route between points for some reason. I have read that I should update the firmware of the camera but this is not possible because I can only update the firmware of the NVR which I have already done. How can I solve this issue?

@cody-konijn_610071588766265 To update firmware on camera from NVR, pop the firmware for camera onto a USB put it into usb socket in the back of the NVR. Goto System / Maintenance / then select Upgrade IPC.
This will update your cameras firmware.

@martin-kistell_73972976554167 I can't find an Upgrade IPC on the windows nor android version. I did however find this button on an old youtube video of reolink where they used a seemingly older version of the app.

@cody-konijn_610071588766265 Have you connected a monitor directly to your NVR and tried it that way? I have a monitor switch box on one of my screens for my NVR/PC/Work laptop and do everything that way.

Cody the only other thing I can think, what is the Hw No. and model of your NVR. I had to replace my older NVR for a newer RLN8-410 N3MB01 as the older ones have slighly diffrent internals and diffrent software interface, also they do not support all the new features (although externally they look Identical).

@martin-kistell_73972976554167 I have my PC connected to my router via an ethernet cable and my NVR is also connected via an ethernet cable to the same router. I have the RLN8-410 N3MB01 so that shouldn't be the issue. This is the screen where I should find the upgrade IPC button.

@cody-konijn_610071588766265 Hi Cody yes, I get that same screen through windows and app. Im not sure you can update the camera that way.

If you plug in a HDMI cable into the back of your NVR and connect it to a monitor you should see this screen, so you can upgrade your cameras.
