Sensitivity adjustments, Object size? Alarm Delay, Explanations?

DVR Model RNL16 - RLC 811a cameras
I need a detailed explanation that I cannot find in anything provided on this site. I am getting too many false alerts (no motion in recorded view) and missing vehicle detection on the same camera.
Detection- low shows a running man, Medium a dog, high a bug. Explain the sensitivity parameters.

Sensitivity for Smart Detection
I am missing detection of vehicles sometimes and getting false detections of headlights that come at the front of the property, even though it is covered by a zone set to protect from alerts.

Object Size
If you draw a box for the Minimum and maximum object size and save it will show on refresh on each side of the screen. the object size for person or vehicle will be different dependent upon it's proximity (distance from) to the camera. In other words the size of an objet that is 300 feet away is different than the size it takes up on the screen if it is 10 feet away. So when drawing this box, how does the system interpret this information. Is it important to set these values? Are they better left alone? -
Hello, there. As for the sensitivity for smart detection, the higher the level, the more sensitive the motion detection. For instance, in level 1, the alert will be triggered when motion is detected in 10% of the motion detection area; In level 50, the alert will be triggered when motion is detected in 0.5% of the motion detection area.
You can set different motion sensitivity values for the four time periods. You may change each period’s starting and ending time to adapt to the changing lighting conditions of the surroundings. It is recommended to set the sensitivity higher (10-50) in the daytime and lower (1-10) at night time.
To find the best sensitivity values at different times in day/night, please test the system during different time periods. You may ask a friend to move in front of the camera for which you want to adjust the sensitivity. The ideal sensitivity level is the one when your friend's movements always trigger the motion detection, and there are no false triggers (or very few) when your friend isn’t moving. -
As for the Object Size, moving objects that are smaller than the minimum object size or bigger than the maxmum object size will not trigger alarm. You can customized the object size by your actual usage. It is not necessary to set it. If so, the alarm will be triggered when there is an object in view.
As for the Alarm Delay, quite a lot of false alarms happen at night or on snowy or rainy days. If snowflakes and raindrops enter the box of the stationary object, resulting in sudden changes and false alarms. To reduce this circumstance, we add the Alarm Delay feature.
How it works: AI may take 20 frames in 1 second to analyze and see how many frames are with the motion. Only when AI detects motions in most of the frames, this motion is considered a true alarm.
We recommend you to untag any motion if posssible. Just detect person, vehicle. And enable the alarm delay to reduce the false alarm.
Recommended settings
For person detection, 1 second;
For vehicle detection, 1-3 seconds.
