@hometheater503_202558512976108 This Android 9 pie is now 5 years old. Since then there were 5 major Android upgrades. Would you consider an Android upgrade? Most probably support will ask you to upgrade.

thanks for responding! unfortunately, i can't upgrade my phone anymore (that i know of), and a new phone is not really an option right now. thing is, i've got another android 9 motorola phone, and it works fine on there. also, i've got a tablet running android 8.1.0, and it works on there too. both are running reolink 4.35.1.1. can't do a reset of the phone either, since i've got some work things on there i need. -
@hometheater503_202558512976108 Try to email support. Meanwhile try to go back to the previous version.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 thanks again. guessing now it's a phone issue, since i'm having issues installing the xfinity app too. tried the cache clearout with no luck, so still looking around. these phones drive me nuts sometimes!

thanks again for responding, and . . . it's fixed. turns out it was the SD card for some reason. removed that, and all's well now . . . knock on wood! thanks . . . john. -
@hometheater503_202558512976108 SD??? You install the applications on SD?

honestly, no clue. i had it "merged" (or whatever) with the internal storage, so all looked like internal. luckily, had plenty of regular internal storage, so i actually didn't need the extra. i'm no cell phone whiz here -- ha! -
@hometheater503_202558512976108 Normally data can be shared on SD but the application normally resides on the internal mem. Anyhow it works for you ........... If you need the details to the byte level of the mobile messages exchanged with both the packet and circuit switch core then I can teach you....ha ha ha....Even VOLTE which requires the IMS core. Have a nice day.
Reolink keeps stopping (android 9)
