How do I default the windows client to open the video feeds as "clear" instead of Standard or fluent? This is annoying having to right click and select "clear" with every video feed when I open the windows client. For some reason the windows client opens set the either fluent or standard and will not remember I selected "clear" when I close the program and re-open. I am using windows client v8.7.1.

Not sure why anyone would not want the best video feed to see on their screen when looking at what their cameras are seeing. There should be a setting to allow the user to select the default for this setting. Thank you...

@spencer_415837063233716 Hi Spencer, thank you for the suggestion. The Client will not default to open the video feed as clear as it will take up much GPU and CPU capacity. To avoid possible issues with the client and PC, the client opens the video feed in standard or fluent only. Hope this clarifies.

@reolink-lorenz thank you for your reply however the question was not why not but how to do it. I think this should be up to the user to decide if they want to use the full quality stream by default regardless of HW requirements.

I have the same problem with this new app. I had to revert back to the older version where this wasn't an issue. Reolink, please make a fix so we can use your new app AND see the picture clearly.

@user_663883909586977_663883909586977 Since I upgraded to the Windows client 8.10.4 version, I've had repeated crashes. Then upgraded to 8.11.0 version, hoping that it might fix it, but it got even worse... Drove me nuts, couldn't select 'Clear' (black screen - crash again, and again, and again, ad nauseum). I've now rolled back to version 8.8.5 and it's back to normal, all good. I suspect that the updates are optimised for Windows 11. My PC processor doesn't do Win11 and I don't see the need to buy a new one that does. Reolink 8.8.5 is now as solid as rock (before they decided to screw it up). I'll be sticking with it.

@user_709649956446452_709649956446452 Maybe you are running a Win 32 bit OS. The 8.10.x and 8.11.x are 64bit applications. 8.X.X is a 32 bit application.
