With the reolink app it is possible to be notified by push about movement, persons and ringing.

1) Unfortunately, there is no setting option to not only receive a push message when the doorbell rings, but also to be notified by audio "ring" on the mobile phone.

I think that this should be a basic function of the doorbell (as with ring, eufy, etc.) and a real benefit to contact visitors from outside.

2) Furthermore, you have to book the paid cloud service (7-day service not for doorbell) to get a single recording of the visitor when ringing with the push message. Eufy, for example, also offers this locally without a cloud.

In general, after ring, eufy, etc., I am very satisfied with the product. The strength in the stream OnVIEW, NAS, etc. area is something that other providers rarely offer. However, the audio notification when the doorbell rings is elementary in my opinion.

@user_647659261177881_647659261177881 Reolink phone app has a on/off notification button for each camera to send the phone motion alerts. But you have to also allow your phone to use Reolink notifications. Go to phone general settings, go to all the apps listed, find Reolink app and open it, turn on allow sound notifications. I get a message pop up and sound alert with each notification.

Reolink cams do not require cloud subscription to fully function. Some brands require it. Reolink cloud is optional. Reolink cams can save recordings multiple ways, to internal memory card you buy and install, NVR, FTP, email, etc. With internal memory card you can watch the recordings in the app using Playback button. The Reolink doorbell uses memory cards up to 256GB. Buy a good high endurance card, put it in the camera, format it in the app. You could watch YouTube reviews of Reolink doorbell cam, how to set up, use. @md I have activated the push notifications. But in the settings I only see the push message and no sound alert.
push notification is working from the first minute. A door bell w/o sound on the smartphone.


From my point of view, it makes sense to be able to make such settings in the app (especially for the doorbell).
I have a memory card in the doorbell and record the stream on my synology NAS. It seems that the free version (7 days) is not offered for the doorbell and the associated options.
For the consumer, it is not easy to see what is possible with and without the cloud.

Even with an extended plan, the doorbell is still grey and not selectable. It is also not listed in the list of compatible devices.
