I updated to version 8.10.4 on the Windows Server and now I don't have an image or video stream on the cameras anymore. I use rlc-423 cameras. The strange part, on windows 10 I can still access the cameras and see the video stream

@user_704102555316464_704102555316464 Try to disable the hardware acceleration first from the main menu of the client and re-run appl.

Can anyone identify the last "properly working" version of the Reolink Desktop Client for Windows...and provide a "CLEAN" downloadable link?

@js1547_457196343931021 Check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012466173-All-Reolink-Client-Versions/
Hopefully we shall soon get a new upgraded client. -
@joseph_1979 Hi,
I too upgraded to the latest client on Windows. Hardly anything works now.
No playback, no widgets on screen.
I can see the cameras, but not control them, Zoom pan ETC.
I opened a support ticket and they replied with. Sorry, can't help, and they are not going to release any bug fixes in the near future.
Very disappointing to say the least.

@user_704910494892179_704910494892179 They will shortly release a client upgrade v8.11 and hopefully we expect that such issues don't crop up again. But as I stated in a number of comments I have v8.10.4 on both Windows 10 and 11 and I do not have the issues of the missing control icons. So it must be that this is created by a specific scenario, maybe the upgrade procedure. I know it is frustrating but in your case I will go back to the 32 bit client v8.8.5 until the new one is available.
Try to move the mouse slowly where the icons normally appear. See if they come up. -
@joseph_1979 Thank you for providing that link. After I uninstalled Reolink Desktop Client 8.10.4 and "downgraded" back to version 8.8.5, everything reverted to working properly.
NOTE: Reolink developers need to realign their main focus on repairing/updating Windows Desktop Client 8.10.4, including thorough testing before being released to the public. The current version is CRIPPLING satisfactory use of their products by customers...and severely undermining the company's reputation! -
@js1547_457196343931021 Agree. That's what I used to do when I was a developer. I spent most of the time planning and testing. But today this has changed with most suppliers launching products with inadequate testing.
Reolink Desktop Client 8.10.4 no stream on windows server
