How can a simple user, i.e. a user without admin rights have the PTZ controls?
We want to enable users to position the CAM themselves without having problems that they disconfigure the device when having admin rights.
CAM is RLC-823A 16x

Thank you. Though such an "admin with limited access" still can setup the camera which is what I want to avoid. So if a "normal" user cannot use the camera PTZ - is there a way to disable setup for a limited admin?

Any idea about that? Or is this a feature request that should be placed with development?
From first experience with the CAM I can say that the hardware is a great product, the zoom is fantastic and the quality / price ratio is very good.
How could the user-management be enhanced?

@r-c-maeder_691806499725573 I suggest you to take it up with support. With the current fw it is not possible to give such function to user.

They need to re-engineer the user management part. They need to assign roles with selectable functions and these role ID assigned to the created user. This is how it is implemented on big systems.
