You are making plenty camera's with HRD/WDRIn many situations the brightness of the background (in clear daylight) is much higer then the face of the erson at the door. This makes it impossible to recognize the person.I do not know a work around for this if any exist, but that is something essential for a doorbellAt this moment this is a showstopper for me.
This is a common problem with home security cameras. Doors with overhangs, porch roofs etc. can be very dark compared to background bright light, sunny sky. A face will be too shadowed to see it. Some brands have HDR/WDR setting. Depending how good the HDR/WDR function is, the benefit may or may not be enough to ID a face by the front door. Plus a bad guy could just lower his face with a cap or use a mask. Reolink app has a brightness control which will make the foreground brighter but the background may become brighter than you want.
I second this. I absolutely love nearly everything about this camera, but the lack of HDR is a huge hole. A person's face can hardly be made out in the daytime. Adjustments in the picture can be made to brighten up a person but at the expensive of "blowing out" the background.
