Hi,Received my Argus for about 3 weeks now and so far battery statuses are either full or none/low. There are no clear indication in percentage or graphics showing current battery status. Why? and when will we have that feature?
I was told by Reolink that because of the nature of the batteries, that's how it works. Yet other devices that use lithium batteries, like an iPhone, have no problem showing battery percentage use. When I asked Reolink about that, then they told me their cameras don't have the technology built in them to show battery percentage. Kind of makes the battery status page in the app pointless then. I'd like to get an indication of where my battery power is at, so I can plan ahead if I go on an extended vacation. Sure, I could just install a new set of batteries before I go, but CR123A batteries are expensive and I have 6 cameras. Either way again, the battery status page is useless if it only shows up full or low.
I will forward this request to our R&D team. They will discuss those requests from users in routine meetings. Your request could probably be adopted and implemented in future products/software updates.
Do we have any improvements on this yet? After a few app updates (and possibly Argus firmware updates as well), I still haven't seen much difference in this area.
