although not exactly a true security feature, if there can be an on-screen "tag" during live view, of how many concurrent connections, this will let the owners know if anyone else is logged on in real-time.
thank you for the push notification update; now we see the specific camera names instead of generic "IP Camera". this was a big help giving us a good preview of which camera triggered by motion or otherwise.thanks again Reolink!
We will try to change “IP camera” to the device name:And a record X seconds before event and X seconds after event are called “pre-record” and “post-record” which is not available for battery-powered cameras, but available for other models from Reolink. You can do some research on the battery-powered cameras on the market and you’ll see pre-record is not realistic for battery-powered but only for DC powered cameras as it demands for non-stop working. And for Reolink Argus, if it’s triggered it records for 6 sec and send you an alert. If it’s triggered again after the 6-sec, it will push again.
it has been another 4 months since i last inquired about the status of "push notification improvement suggestions" thread. i still don't see any difference in my notification as it still shows generic "IP Camera" instead of unique names we've given to each camera unit. seemed like both my Reolink app and cameras are current version.
hello, do we have any updates to this? it's been a long while and i still only see "Alarms From IP Camera" on my notification and NOT the specific cam which the alarm was triggered from.
Do we have any improvements on this yet? After a few app updates (and possibly Argus firmware updates as well), I still haven't seen much difference in this area.
i have the original Argus. is there a way to change the video recording length to longer / shorter triggered by motion detect (PIR)? i realize this will affect battery consumption but i'm ok with that via USB powered.thanks!
...also, what is that hidden USB port for? does that mean we can use external power source if we decided not to use the expensive batteries? or is that dedicated for other uses?
i second this suggestion as this was on my radar to be brought up here. thank you "ohallord"...!
this is very interesting and enlightening. something to be learned here other than voiding warranty.danke herr der.kohli for sharing!
Hi,Received my Argus for about 3 weeks now and so far battery statuses are either full or none/low. There are no clear indication in percentage or graphics showing current battery status. Why? and when will we have that feature?
