      Hi guys,

I want to connect the Reolink E1 Zoom to powerbank and charge power bank at the same time. It's DC 5V and 1A and should be possible.
Does anyone know which "USB to hollow plug" works and where I could buy that?

      Thanks...

P.S: Do I have to chose a wire that is limited to 1 A because power bank can deliver 2.1A?

There should be nothing wrong with connecting the E1 camera to a power bank using a USB cable with the proper connector on each end. Most Reolink cameras use micro USB for the power connector. Power banks vary. I have some with USB Type A, some with micro USB, some with USB type C.

Of course the power bank can be charging at the same time.

@crimp-on_62210811129 : Power banks deliver 2A and I can't see a cable limiting to 1 A. Is that an issue?

I could buy the Argus 3 Pro but not sure if I get the special firmware with ftp upload. Anybody here can give me the Argus 3 Oro firmware that allows FTP Upload?

@user_824650961277058_824650961277058 There is no need to limit the current as this is limited by the impedance at the camera side (assuming same Voltage). To the best of my knowledge there is no Reolink battery cam which has the ftp feature. But as you said you might ask support if they can tailor you a fw. I have Argus 2, Argus 3 Pro, Argus 3 Ultra and DUO 2 battery operated cams and none of them came with the ftp functionality. This, of course, results in draining the battery more often and this is the main reason why they left it out. If, however, you are able to pass a cat5/6 cable or have a power outlet in the vicinity I recommend you to go for a POE or dc operated cam. You have 24x7 recording, ftp. better detection range, triggering not impacted by ambient temp, higher range against the max 9m provided by battery cam, able to update (battery cams are rarely updated and you need to ask support to add it to your profile), etc. So think well before purchasing.
